“
And never stops - at all -
And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard -
And sore must be the storm -
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm -
I’ve heard it in the chillest land -
And on the strangest Sea -
Yet - never - in Extremity,
It asked a crumb - of me.

My Enneagram Journey
I was introduced to the Enneagram in 2001 when I became a Certified Integral Coach with New Ventures West in San Francisco. I was hooked. I continued to attend various trainings and learn from wise and compassionate Enneagram teachers, including Russ Hudson, Michael Naylor, Dale Rhodes, Beatrice Chestnut, and Uranio Paes.
I see the Enneagram as a gift that helps me understand myself and others. It is humbling and requires vulnerability to confront the motivation behind the behavior and create a new way of being that reflects an authentic self.
Before entering the counseling field in 2009, I worked in sales and sales management for 20+ years in the broadcasting industry. As a general sales manager, I used the Enneagram to better understand and work effectively with my boss, sales staff, clients, and myself. I understand and have compassion for work-related stress, career restlessness, confidence issues, and personality challenges in the workplace.
I received my Master's in Counseling from George Fox University in 2011. I used the Enneagram with my counseling clients to understand the lens through which they experienced the world. I have found that clients open to growing their self-awareness and using Enneagram insights were better prepared to remove their self-created obstacles and experience growth. The wisdom from working with the Enneagram creates a path for transformation for each of us.

In this next chapter of my life, I challenged myself to achieve the rigorous, challenging, and illuminating Professional and Personal Enneagram Certification from Chestnut Paes Academy. I am now devoting myself to coaching those willing to engage in self-awareness practices that reveal what keeps them stuck and are ready to take on new approaches to moving forward. Helping others find the freedom from living as their authentic selves brings me joy.

I believe life is the best teacher. Ironically, you learn more about yourself, your capabilities, and your needs from your challenges and suffering. We will explore your challenges together as we learn more about you through the insights of the Enneagram. We will discover the strengths that give you resilience and competency and the blind spots that keep you from enjoying the freedom of your true self.
It is an honor to share what I have learned from my Enneagram training, my work with others, and my life challenges with my clients, who are also my teachers and friends on the path.

I would be honored to be your Enneagram Coach and help you discover your true self.

From Type 7 Client
"I specifically liked the way Margaret listened intently and then offered ways in which I might approach things differently. She kept things positive but gave it to me straight sometimes. She is engaging, gentle, and exuberant all at the same time."
Type 9 Client
“Thank you for the extra help in this 'falling asleep' area. Thank you for the encouragement and for your follow up notes that help keep me focused."
